The name Andreas DeKar was created by blending the names of two families becoming one. Andre Hendrix (Left) son’s middle name, Andreas, and his late wife Veronica son’s middle name Dekar created the strong bond of Andreas Dekar. Andreas DeKar founded in 2009, established on the principles of hard work and dedication to a product engineered to produce the best tasting wines with creative blends in the midwest region.
Winner of the 2010 F.I.T.A. Amateur Wine Competition, the Andreas DeKar winery has produced award winning blends such as Apple Ruby Cabernet and Chocolate Raspberry (coffee) wines; also winner of the 2011 Akron Entrepreneurship Summit presented by LRMR and the 100 Urban Entrepreneurs. Andreas DeKar wines is certainly a taste above the rest.
