Hinterland Vineyards makes wines from varieties of grapes grown right here in Minnesota. The quality of our grapes at harvest is the result of our attention to detail throughout the growing season. We produce a fruit that we can be confident is at it's prime when it is picked. The winemaking process combines skill, science, and the winemaker’s artistic style to bring you Hinterland Vineyard’s best wines. At Hinterland, our vineyard and winery are part of a growing, sustainable industry. We are a winery with the ability to adapt and change with the future. From our grandparents who came to this area and settled this land, to our parents, and now our children, we carry on the ability to adapt and change to new surroundings.

Directions
Coming from Willmar: taking Hwy 23 SE for approximately 15 mi until you're just outside of Clara City. Go N (right) on 120th Ave SE for 3/4 mi and look for winery on E (right) side of road (vineyards will be visible from gravel road). Look for signs. Coming from Montevideo: Go 17 mi E on Hwy 7 to Clara City, take a left onto Hwy 23 at 7/23 intersection, take 23 right outside of town, and turn left (N) onto 120th Ave SE, and go N 3/4 mi, and winery is on E side of road. Look for signs.
