Corcoran Brewing Company
Nestled on the back roads of Waterford is Virginia's newest "nanobrewery" and the first winery and brewery in the state.
After tackling the world of winemaking, Lori and Jim Corcoran decided to expand to include their love of beer as well. Brewer Kevin Bills was brought in, a plan was made, and here we are. We have intentionally kept our production level very low (one-half barrel at a time) to ensure a true hand crafted, artisan brew.
We have recently planted six varieties of hops just outside our tasting room and anticipate using our first year's yield in some late summer harvest ales and wet hopped pales. As much as possible we will be obtaining our ingredients from local sources and hope by the end of the first year to have everything besides our yeast sourced from within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Catoctin Ale
English Pale Ale. More amber and less “hoppy” than its American counterpart, plenty of crystal malts create a well balanced finish for our variation on this English style.
Corky’s Irish Red
Irish Red Ale. Imported U.K. Northdown hops and a hint of roasted barley give this ale a bit of the old country.
LoCo I.P.A.
(Loudoun County India Pale Ale) A little darker than many I.P.As, we have seven hop additions to this 90 minute boil for a strong, yet not overpowering hop presence.
P’ville Pale
American Pale Ale. Golden ale moderately hopped with a blend of American, German, and UK hop varieties.
Slainte Stout
(“Slawn-cha” – Gaelic for “cheers”) Less heavy than your typical stout, with a smooth chocolate finish. Non stout drinkers will be pleasantly surprised with this ale.
