located just north of McKinney, Texas near the oldest town in Collin County - Weston.
The home of Ray & Sue Verrill, 300 cabernet Sauvignon grape vines, 6 goats, 5 dogs, 5 cats, 3 horses! Ray has been a winemaker since his teens and Sue raises Dwarf Nigerian Dairy Goats. Making cheese to go with the wine made perfect sense!
"If you could do or be anything you wanted and money was not a factor what would you be?" Sue asked Ray in the aftermath of 9/11. "I'd like to have a vineyard and winery" Ray replied.
The rest was a lot of hardwork, money we didn't have but we're getting there!
