Bryn Mawr Vineyards

Bryn Mawr Vineyards Bryn Mawr Vineyards Oregon pinot noir is an expression of the volcanic soils, the elevations and exposure, vineyard management of canopy and crop level, and the patient, timely processing of the grapes into wine. Specializing in limited production pinot noir and tempranillo wines, we invite you to taste the difference. At this site in the Eola Hills of the Willamette Valley, the terroir imparts unique flavors and balance in every vintage of wine. Farming sustainably, sheep graze the vineyards weeding and feeding the vines. Blocks of vines are kept small and native trees act as wind breaks. While the terroir and farming practices are responsible for most flavors in the wine, the complementary cellar practices act to differentiate these unique wines.

Black cherry and black raspberry flavors are mixed with soft tanins and smoke. This is a bright wine with great color, youthful enthusiasm and a long finish. As of October 2005, this wine is starting to show it's potential. Drinking very nicely, enjoy now through 2008.Try a Vella Extra Aged Dry Jack with this Pinot.
