Opening in October 2008, Cedarvale Winery has been a long time dream of owners Ed and Marsha Gaventa. A successful fourth-generation farmer, Ed has applied his skills to crafting a variety of fine fruit and grape wines. The 2007 vintage includes Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Chardonnay, as well as Peach, Nectarine, Apple, Strawberry and Cherry fruit wines. Marsha will easily guide you through your selections and help you to select the wine you are looking for.

Directions
From Philadelphia: From the Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin or Commodore Barry Bridges, follow signs for Route 295. Take 295 to Exit 14 (Repaupo). At the top of the ramp, make a right. We are located about 1/4 mile down the road on the right. From the NJ Turnpike: Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 2. Follow signs for Route 295 North. Take 295 North to Exit 14 (Repaupo). Apple Wine
Our apple wine is made from crisp, robust and sweet fuji apples. Serve chilled to bring out the apple aromas.

Cabernet Franc
Our Cabernet Franc is lighter than Cabernet Sauvignon (of which it is a parent), contributing finesse and a unique fruity blend of oak and nutmeg.

Chardonnay
Our chardonnay is a rich, medium oak, white wine with green apple flavors.

Cherry Wine
Our cherry wine is light and fruity with vanilla and cream undertones. Serve it slightly chilled.

Merlot
Our merlot is a smooth, drinkable oaked wine with rich, plum-like flavors with blueberry and cherry notes.

Nectarine Wine
Our nectarine wine is a light bodied white wine which combines the sweetness of a peach with the refreshing tartness of a nectarine. Serve slightly chilled.

Peach Wine
Our peach wine is sweet, crisp, dry and fruity and best served after dinner. Serve chilled to bring out the peach aromas.
|
Strawberry Wine
Our strawberry wine is semi-sweet with a slight vanilla undertone and is best utilized as a dessert wine.
