Directions
Directions from the South: From Burlington VT, take Route 89 north for 25 miles to St. Albans. Take exit 19. At stop light, turn right on Route 104 (N. Fairfax Rd.) for half a mile. At stop light, turn right on Route 36 (Fairfield Hill Rd.) for 10.9 miles. At this point you'll be at a distinct 'S' curve. Turn right on Elm Brook Road. Cross metal bridge over Black Creek. Follow dirt road to end, about half a mile, to Elm Brook Farm. Directions from the North: From the Port of Highgate Springs at the US/Canadian boarder, take Route 89 south for 16 miles to St. Albans. Take exit 19. At stop light, turn right on Route 104 (N. Fairfax Rd.) for half a mile. At stop light, turn right on Route 36 (Fairfield Hill Rd.) for 10.9 miles. At this point you'll be at a distinct 'S' curve. Turn right on Elm Brook Road. Cross metal bridge over Black Creek. Follow dirt road to end, about half a mile, to Elm Brook Farm. Directions from the East: From Stowe take Route 108 N (Mountain Rd.) to Jeffersonville. Note, Smugglers' Notch Pass is closed in the winter, so take Rt. 100 north to Morseville, then Rt. 15 west to Jeffersonville. From Jeffersonville, take Route 108 N for 10 miles to Bakersfield. Turn left on Route 36 for 3.8 miles through East Fairfield. At this point you'll be at a distinct 'S' curve. Turn left on Elm Brook Road. Cross metal bridge over Black Creek. Follow dirt road to end, about half a mile, to Elm Brook Farm.
