Named after Joe Dobbes’ son, this wine is big, rich, concentrated, bold, almost “over the top” and definitely not too shy. A wine for those that think bigger is better….Massive aromas of plums, blackberries, spice and graham. This full-bodied wine opens slowly from a focused core and just keeps getting more round and full in the mouth with exposure to air. The flavors are expansive with blackberries, coffee, plums finishing spicy with a hint of earth wrapped within firm, but accessible tannins.

This amazingly succulent, exotic and sexy wine opens with intense and opulently rich aromas of white peach, pineapple, vanilla and spices. Then is gets better and better, with flavors of peach, pear, vanilla, cardamom, nutmeg and grapefruit which shortly give rise to apricot and jasmine. This sweet but incredibly well-balanced wine stands perfectly with citrus-like acidity and finishes fresh, clean and lingering. Drink now through 2012.

Named after Joe Dobbes’ Daughter, aka Skipper, this unique Pinot Noir initially opens with aromas of fresh earth that quickly yield to effusive boysenberry and cassis aromas. The medium body and soft mouth feel welcome bright cherry and black raspberry flavors integrated with silky and sweet barrel and grape tannins. The long, velvety finish endures.

Big, bold and powerful aromas emanate from the full-bodied dense and compact wine. A wine built for the long haul. Wild blackberry aromas carry over the palate, giving rich and concentrated flavors with caramel, rye, chocolate and gamey characters. The tannins are big, but sweet with ripeness intertwined and well balanced with the fruit and barrel spices, giving a solid frame for agability. Best opened starting in 2007 and drinkable through 2017.

This wine opens with intense aromas of white peach and grapefruit which shortly give rise to apricot, jasmine and cardamom with some time in the glass. The medium-bodied impression in the mouth introduces the flavors of star fruit and tarragon with a hint of barrel spice. This heavier white wine showcases a rare balance of power and elegance with perfectly balanced acidity.

This classic Oregon Pinot Gris is lively, yet sophisticated. Exhibiting intense aromas of ripe green apples, lemon zest and verbena, our Pinot Gris is slightly nuanced with just enough barrel spice to add further complexity. The mouthwatering flavors mirror the aromas and finishes long and clean.
