Silver Vines Winery

Silver Vines Winery Silver Vines Winery opened on December 2nd, 2011. Brothers Danny and Jeff Chayer were born in Robbinsdale, Minnesota and started the business after working in the wine industry for nearly five years. Minnesota, Texas, and Washington were three of the states where they learned how to manage and make wine. They took their knowledge to Colorado and started their first winery in Olde Town Arvada. Jeff started making wine in Minnesota and wanted to grow his education so he moved to Texas to attend Grayson County College where he received his Viticulture and Enology degree in wine making. While Jeff was attending school, Danny having graduated from St. Cloud State University moved to Texas as well and started working at a local winery. After graduating, Jeff moved to Washington taking a position at Zerba Cellars as an assistant wine maker while Danny stayed in Texas. Back in Texas, Danny was a manager for Landon Winery in Greenville, TX. The brothers re-united in Greenville, TX in 2010 where Danny was the manager for Landon Winery and Jeff was the wine maker. They turned their experience and opportunity to start their own business in 2011. They left Texas and headed to Colorado to open Silver Vines Winery.
