Rapscallion Brewery

|
Rapscallion is a rascal, a rogue, a scamp. Rapscallion Honey Ale is an extra pale style ale infused with native wildflower honey from local farmers. It's a crisp, clean, and refreshing craft beer with hints of cascade and nugget hops balanced by a subtle honey aftertaste.

Blessing
Our rich, orange-colored "Blessing" is Rapscallion's hop accentuated
beer. Don't be fooled though, this is no IPA. Higher in alcohol and
balanced with a spicy, bread-like yeast character, Blessing takes its
cues from no style category. To get its distinctive hop character we
employed several additions in the boil, some more again in our custom
"hop back", and lastly we dry hop the beer in a conditioning tank.

Creation
This dark-ruby ale contains about 9.5% alcohol and is complete with
notes of chocolate, plum, and some spice character. What truly makes
this beer unique is that 15% of each batch has been aged in oak
barrels for a period of months. This wood cask ageing will change the
complexion of each batch quite a bit and should lend
a "vintage" quality.

Premier
This deep golden Belgian-inspired ale is a blend of two beers and three
fermentations. The flavor is a mixture of sweetness with some fruity
undertones, spiciness, and a light, underlying bitterness.
