  Cabernet Franc -
The Wine Spectator ranks Casa Rondeña's Cabernet Franc as the highest-rated red wine in New Mexico. April and November, 2002. MEDAL WINNER, Jerry Mead New World International Wine Competition (California). MEDAL WINNER, Pacific Rim International. Touted by winemakers worldwide as one of the most up and coming red wines for the new century, this is Casa Rondeña's signature red wine. The fruity style delivers black cherry, berry, light tobacco and chocolate flavors. Due to our fresh, robust taste, with hints of oak, it can be paired with meats and poultry alike.
  Cabernet Sauvignon Founder’s Reserve -
This intensely fruity cabernet is a meditation on the heart of the American West. The mountains, the deserts, the wind and the canyons, flavors both intimate and expansive. Every two years our winemaker sets aside a few of his favorite barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon. This 2002 vintage, aged two years in French and American oak, yields a complex finish of peppers and red berries, with hints of oak. Excellent structure will help this wine age well.
  Fumé Blanc
A crisp, off-white wine with grapefruit, lemon and green apple highlights. The complement of 5% Muscat evokes a floral quality that hints ever so gently of an earthiness reminiscent of a stroll in a pine forest.
  Gewurztraminer -
Silver Medal, 2002 New Mexico Wine Competition. Casa Rondeña's Gewurztraminer is a richly distinctive wine with a delicately floral bouquet. The grapes for this luscious sweet wine are nurtured in our own Los Ranchos vineyard. Long considered the most aromatic of Alsatian wines, our Gewurztraminer is perfect to sip as an accompaniment to a special dessert or as the crowning jewel to a special meal.
  Meritage -
Winner! Gold Medal, New Mexico State Fair Wine Competition, July 2003. MEDAL WINNER, Jerry Mead New World International Wine Competition (California). Our Winemaster has chosen a hearty blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sovignon for his red Meritage. Soft tannins give this Bordeaux style wine a rich mouthfeel, while low fermentation temperatures retain forward fruit flavors. Gently aged in our large French oak tanks, this wine is kind enough for sipping and as a complement to all types of meat and fowl dishes.
  Meritage White -
Our winemaker waited until the Sauvignon Blanc was approaching over-ripeness in the fall of 2005 to make a wine that offers bold, rounded, tropical flavors. The addition of Semillon adds citrus qualities and a greater mouthfeel.
  Riesling -
$1 from the sale of each bottle of 2002 Riesling is donated to the support of St. Anthony's Pharmacy, "Medicine for an Ailing World" - www.stanthonyspharmacy.com. Vinted exclusively from Casa Rondeña's North Valley vineyard, this exceptional wine captures the intense fruitiness found in grapes grown in high altitudes. It is ideal for afternoon sipping with friends or as an accompaniment to poultry and seafood dishes.
  Sangiovese -
Winner! Silver Medal, New Mexico State Fair Wine Competition, July 2003. MEDAL WINNER, Pacific Rim International Wine Competition. This Casa Rondeña wine is Tuscan in nature as well as in viscosity, tannin and color. Our Sangiovese blend is comprised of 97% Sangiovese and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. Expect a strong front palate of cherry flavor, with soft tannins.

  Sauvignon Blanc -
Last Year's vintage won the Bronze Medal, 2003 New Mexico Wine Competition. Wonderful grapefruit highlights herald this crisp dry wine. Smooth and refreshing with hints of citrus and spice, this wine was made from fruit allowed to "hang" past normal ripening time, creating fullness on the palate, with a touch of melon. Vibrant through the finish, this flavorful wine is an excellent accompaniment to fish, seafood, fruit and cheese.
  Serenade
Winner--BEST OF SHOW--two years in a row--2003 and 2004 New Mexico State Fair Wine Competition. It was Number One over 239 New Mexico wines...and our winemaker believes the current Serenade is even better--it’s the BEST he has ever blended! Casa Rondeña's Serenade is a lively, fruity blend of Riesling and Gewürztraminer, both grown here in the Los Ranchos vineyard where we craft all our wines. This fragrant, off-dry wine is delicious with spicy dishes, elegant with dessert, and particularly delightful shared with friends on a spring or summer afternoon. A perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Limit 3 bottles per customer.
