  Sauvignon Blanc
Grapes for our 2003 Sauvignon Blanc originated from the acclaimed Valley View Vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley, one of the original vineyards planted in Santa Ynez Valley in the 1970's. The wine was 50% barrel fermented and aged five months in French oak. Fresh aromas of citrus, melon and lychee are accented by hints of fig, lemongrass and fennel. Crisp natural acidity is balanced by a subtle background of French oak.
  Syrah - Edna Valley
uit for this single vineyard Syrah came from two small hillside blocks in Edna Ranch, a promising new vineyard in Edna Valley. Planted to the Estrella Syrah clone on 5C rootstock, the vines run north-south for improved sun exposure. The wine is rich and expressive with aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, licorice, black pepper and spice.
  Syrah - Santa Ynez Valley
Fruit for this vineyard-designated wine came from the Rodney Shull Vineyard, part of Fess Parker’s estate in Santa Ynez Valley. Situated atop a mesa, the vineyard enjoys warm temperatures tempered by morning fog and cool afternoon breezes. This Syrah is expressive and richly layered, displaying aromas of plum, blackberry, coffee and dark chocolate. The wine culminates in a velvety, smoky finish.
  Zinfandel
Lone Oak Vineyard is a small, family-owned property that produces outstanding, hand cultivated Zinfandel. Vintage conditions in 2003 were excellent, bringing warm temperatures and long hang time for the fruit to fully ripen. This wine is vibrant and well balanced, featuring aromas of wild blackberry, plum and black currant with hints of vanilla, coffee, red licorice and subtle oak. A velvety mid-palate and firm acidity give way to a clean, yet lingering finish.
