We both grew up in Milo, Maine, near the banks of the Sebec River. Our first business venture together was a gourd & pumpkin cart, which we moved door-to-door in our neighborhood when we were very young.
Noah Bissell developed the idea for Bissell Brothers in 2011. He has been obsessed with the convergence of art & science that is brewing since his first batch. Ignoring preconceived notions about his age and experience, Noah continues to amaze and delight the senses of those that taste his creations. Carefully balancing science with guts and intuition, and brewing knowledge & history with innovation and uncharted territory, Noah is always looking towards the future of beer.
Peter Jensen Bissell comes from a photography & design background, and injects that into all aspects of Bissell Brothers. Having succeeded with a service business, Peter is obsessed with delivering happiness & value to his tribe, and cultivating a specific culture across all his endeavors. Always examining how people make buying choices and how the economy changes with our society, and determined to improve and elevate any organization he interacts with, Peter lives and breathes the soul of the company.
