Suds Monkey Brewing Company is the result of a unique partnership and a passion for beer. Greg Plummer started brewing commercially in 1996 working for Big Buck Brewery in Michigan, then BJ's Brewhouse in CA, and finally ending at Stone Brewing Company in San Diego. Ge left Stone to make enough money to open his own place and this process wound up in an amazing partnership with Steve Gray on a business venture that resulted in financial ability to finally achieve a long time dream. We decided to keep it very simple at the start and are starting with the basics on a half barrel pilot system. With the twists and turns in the first year of setting up, starting small has already proven to be an wise decision. At this time we are awaiting a transfer of licensing from TABC to our 2nd location (due to permitting issues on the initial location) and anticipate being open to the public in Q1 2017. Our starting line up will consist of a Pale Ale, an IPA, a Blonde, and an Amber, !
