Stag's Hollows Winery and Vineyard A small farm winery, Stags Hollow is the fulfillment of Larry Gerelus and Linda Pruegger dream. Situated on a picturesque bench surrounded by mountains, lakes, vineyards, and nature reserves, we are located just south of Okanagan Falls on 10 acres of prime grape growing land. The micro-climate in the area as well as the ideal soils which are mostly gravel and clay provide superb conditions to grow both red and white grapes. The vineyard is 13 years old and is currently planted with Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Vidal grapes. We pride ourselves in producing unique, high quality varietals and blends

  Chardonnay
An elegant Chardonnay, it is a blend of both unoaked and barrel fermented lots. A balance of fruit from the unoaked portion and the complexity and fullness from barrel fermentation is beautifully achieved. With honeydew melon and citrus on the nose, look for pear, apple and tropical fruit on the palate. A clean, lingering finish makes this a very food friendly wine.
  Merlot
This fruit-forward Merlot was fermented in small, unique lots, barrel aged for 19 months and then bottled without filtration or fining. A tasty, rich Merlot that is easy to enjoy now but worthy of a few years in your cellar.
  Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine is a blend of barrels from our Estate Vineyard, Harmony One(Similkameen) and Heritage Vineyards(Osoyoos) which has provided us with wonderful complexity and fruit flavours. This expressive wine presents rich flavours of blueberry, blackberry, cassis and plum layered wtih cigar box, cocoa, and eucalyptus. It is round and full on the palate and structured to be enjoyed now with food or over the 2 to 3 years.
  Pinot Noir
Estate grown, this wine asserts itself with concentrated flavours of currant and blackberries. With beautiful fruit up front, is rich and full on the palate. This wine would be best aged for 3-4 months and then served with food or aged over the next 3-5 years.
  Renaissance Chardonnay
100% barrel fermented sur lie and aged for 8 months in both French and American barrels. Toasty coconut aromas change to melon and honey on the palate. Beautifully balanced, it has a rich lingering anise finish.
  Renaissance Merlot
This year our Renaissance Merlot is 100% Estate fruit. Early in fermentation we knew we had something special. This wine spent 16 months in barrel and has been blended with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon for complexity and structure. This expressive wine delivers rich flavours of blackberry and plum with smooth tannins and a chocolate finish. It is round and full on the palate.
  Simply Noir
Vibrant purple-red colour, sensuous blueberry, blackberry and cherry nose, and a symphony of rich smooth berry fruit makes this Pinot Noir and Gamay Noir blend dance like they were meant to be together! Aged for 9 months in older barrels, Simply Noir developed nice complexity while maintaining its bold cherry and raspberry flavours. A nice, easy red.
  Tragically Vidal
Our Tragically Vidal is becoming very consistent now from year to year. As in prior vintages, the 2004 has a beautiful tropical bouquet. It continues with pineapple, lychee and citrus flavours and ends a bit spicy.
