Singing Water Vineyards is located in the beautiful hills outside of Comfort, Texas among the sparkling springs of Bruins Creek We are a Hill Country family owned and operated vineyard and winery. We put our tender love and care into each step along the way and have been blessed with some very fine Merlot and Merlot / Cabernet Sauvignon blends. We are a very small winery with limited production. Our winery is opened for special events and by appointment.

Directions
FROM DOWNTOWN COMFORT: Take Highway 27 West from downtown Comfort. Turn left on Pankratz Rd. (the second left after the Cypress Creek bridge). Turn right on Mill Dam Road (first right). Proceed about four miles until you come to 316 Mill Dam and turn right (a Singing Water sign is on the entrance). Follow the driveway to the winery. FROM I-10: Use exit number 524 (Highway 87) for Comfort. Go South on the west frontage road (also Highway 289) to Holiday Road (first right). Turn right on Holiday and proceed 1.2 miles to Skyline Drive. Turn right on Skyline and proceed 2.7 miles over the hills to Mill Dam Rd. Turn left on Mill Dam Road and proceed 1 mile to 316 Mill Dam. and the Singing Water entrance. Follow the driveway to the winery.

Singing Water Merlot
The Merlot grapes came from our vineyard. They were hand harvested, sorted, and crushed. Then, the must was fermented for two weeks. The wine was aged in oak barrels for 16 months and bottle aged for a additional 6 months.
This Merlot is very fruity with aromas and flavors of blackberry, raspberry, currants, vanilla and a little clove-like spice. It has a very smooth mouth feel and a nice lasting finish.

Singing Water Reserve Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon
This blended reserve wine was made from our most mature Merlot grapes harvested from the lower vineyard. We also acquired some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon available. After 7 months of aging in oak, both the Merlot and the Cab were blended in a 50/50 ratio. The blend was aged another 9 months in oak barrels and bottle aged for an additional 6 months.
This reserve Merlot/Cab blend is for those who like a bold red wine. It is dark, rich fruity and smooth. The tannins of the Cab have been tamed by the softness of the Merlot and aging in oak. The aromas include blackberry, toasted oak and vanilla. You will also discover flavors of black cherry, plum and raspberry. It has a nice full velvety mouth feel.
