Jones Family Winery

Jones Family Winery We invite families to visit our 400 acre working farm to harvest other seasonal crops. Presently under cultivation are 200 acres of Christmas trees, 15 acres of strawberries, 15 acres of blueberries, and 25 acres of pumpkins, gourds and squash. The Jones family harvests these crops from three different farm locations known as the Christmas Tree Farm, Strawberry Valley, and Pumpkinseed Hill. The farm also manages 50 acres of hay land and 50 acres of woodlots. Several acres of grapes are in production for the farm's winery. Our tasting room is located in our historic dairy barn located on the main farmyard. Come taste the wines that everyone has been talking about! For a tasting fee of $5, people can enjoy sampling the winery's distinctive wines and receive a complimentary Jones Winery wine glass. Visitors can also browse the winery's specialty gift store, full of unique and holiday items.

Directions
FROM LOWER FAIRFIELD COUNTY: Travel north on Merritt Parkway (Route 15) to Exit 49N or I-95 to Exit 27A. Follow Route 25 North to stop light. Take a right at light on Route 111 and go for 3.3 miles. Then turn right onto Route 110 and go 2 miles. Turn right on Israel Hill Road/Walnut Tree Hill Rd.and follow signs to the farm. FROM HARTFORD AREA: Follow I-91 to Route15, Wilbur Cross Parkway Exit. Continue on Route 15, Wilbur Cross Parkway for 21 miles. Take Exit 58 - Route 34 to Derby. Turn right onto Route 34 and go West for 3.5 miles. Turn left on Bridge St. and go 0.2 miles. Turn right on Route 110/ Howe Avenue and travel 4.5 miles. Take a left on Israel Hill Road/Walnut Tree Hill Rd and follow signs to the farm. FROM DANBURY AREA: Follow I-84 to Exit 11 Derby/ New Haven and Route 34. Turn right off exit onto Mile Hill Road and go 800 ft. At light, turn right onto Route 34 and go 5 miles. Turn right on Route 111 to Monroe - approx. 4 miles. Then turn left onto Route 110 and go 2 miles. Turn right on Israel Hill Road/Walnut Tree Hill Rd and follow signs to the farm.

  Woodlands White
A Connecticut grown white wine, refreshingly crisp with a delicate sweet finish. This popular semi-sweet wine is scrumptious when partnered with grilled chicken, veal scaloppini, farm fresh quiche, or an aged, sharp cheddar cheese.
