Archery Summit Winery

Archery Summit Winery Since 1993 our mission at Archery Summit has been to produce superior quality Pinot Noir from our 100 acres of estate vineyards in the acclaimed Red Hills of Dundee, Oregon. Here the Jory soils of the Red Hills combine with our estate vineyards to make this geographic area one of the finest Pinot Noir producing regions of the world. Our four estate vineyards are densely planted, vertically trellised and sustainably farmed to ensure the greatest possible quality of the fruit. These handcrafted wines are moved through our state-of-the-art facility entirely by gravity flow as to not compromise this delicate varietal's integrity and subtle nuances. The Archery Summit portfolio is comprised of Archery Summit Estate, Arcus Estate, Red Hills Estate and Renegade Ridge Estate. Expressive wines from each of these vineyards also create the backbone of our exceptional blend, Premier Cuvée. Our barrel-aging caves are home to more than 550 French oak barrels. Tour our demonstration vineyard and learn about clonal studies and rootstock experimentation. Daily tours are offered by appointment at 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please call 503-864-4300 to make an appointment. We are now open for tasting daily from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The tannins, although powerful, are balanced and lend structure and weight to this intense wine. The finish is long and persists with flavors of cherry compote, iron and plum. The 2002 Archery Summit Estate Pinot Noir is a complex and focused wine for serious collectors, and may be cellared for six to twelve years.
