Since its founding in 2005, Carica Wines has been making wine of extraordinary character from small lots of premium grapes. With a focus on single-vineyard designated varietals, Carica produces Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache, Rosé, and Sauvignon Blanc. Carica also makes a proprietary, Rhone-style red wine, blending Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. Because Carica is very much a “hands on” winery, production is extremely limited.

Directions
From Highway I-580, take Exit 8 for Canal Blvd/Garrard Blvd. Turn onto Canal Blvd and head west toward San Francisco Bay. Stay on Canal Blvd for 2.5 miles as it takes you into the Port of Richmond. When you reach the very end of Canal Blvd, you have arrived at Riggers Loft, next to the historic Red Oak Victory ship. To enter, look for the red door beneath the building’s historic “Sheet Metal” sign.
