S and G Artisan Distillery, LLC is a small-batch distillery dedicated to hand-crafting fine spirits, exceptional schnaps, and unusual liqueurs.
Founded by Meg Solomon-Gujer, Steven Gujer and Hajo Scheuner in 2011, S and G made its home in the community of Yellow Springs, Ohio.
The idea of starting a distillery came in 2009 when Hajo, originally from Germany, introduced Steven and Meg to traditional German schnaps. In 2010, those ideas were born into motion to start S and G as a small distillery, hand-crafting items made with rum and making traditional German schnaps, all with exceptional quality.
In 2011, the idea was finally realized and S and G became one of the newest additions to the Ohio micro-distilling community. Currently offering a fan-favorite, Apple Pie Moonshine, the distillery’s tasting room opened in October 2012.
In 2012, Kerry Scheuner joined S and G’s marketing and sales team. Joining the the tasting room in 2013 are eight new products in our European Schnaps section, along with our signature rum offerings, available for sample in the tasting room.
