Capitol View Winery & Vineyards is just 15 short minutes south of Lincoln, NE, on 25th and Wittstruck Rd., and is a perfect destination for you to relax and unwind. We have expanded the tasting room space to welcome even more wine enthusiasts. New furniture, trim, wine racks and a custom made tasting bar have been added. You will also notice wine barrels and a fresh new feel with exciting changes and events in store!

Our tasting room, winery, 2 ½ acre vineyard and historic barn provides a perfect backdrop for parties, graduation receptions, reunions, outdoor weddings and more.

Reserve Red
The grape used to make this wine was bred by Ed Swanson, co-owner of Cuthills Vineyards. The wine is completely dry, deep, rich and silky. Very limited.

Made from 100% red raspberries grown just 1/2 mile away at Mike & Jennifer Gleason's farm. All the raspberries were hand picked & fresh frozen. One sip is like biting into a handful of fresh raspberries.

Mead
This wine was produced from 100% Nebraska honey. Mead, the favored beverage of the Vikings has lasted through the centuries. The English would tell newlyweds to drink honey wine from moon to moon (one month) for a happy and healthy marriage, thus the word "honeymoon."

Made from 90% Mead and 10% mulberries picked here in northeast Nebraska.

Petite Amie
This semi-sweet white wine is made from the Petite Amie grape bred by David McGregor from MN and named by Ed Swanson. This is a muscat grape and smells like old fashioned roses.

This semi-sweet red wine is made from a blend of grapes and has a soft fruity finish.

Seyval Blanc
This white wine is just off dry, light, fruity and crisp. Not aged in oak.

Made from 100% Traminette grapes, very floral and crisp.

Wild Plum
This sweet wine is made from native wild plum grown in northeast Nebraska. Not syrupy sweet, just sweet with a little astringency, like a wild plum from the bush.

This semi-sweet white wine is usually a blend of at least ten different grapes grown at Cuthills Vineyards and is a favorite with customers.
