The story of the Oyster House goes back to the ’90's when I had a dream of one day having a brewpub. The vision was the result of a passion for great beer, a love for homebrewing and the desire to serve people great food and beer. years went by and I found myself serving people great beer and food at The Lobster Trap in Asheville. After a conversation with our Chef and GM Tres Hundertmark I was on a mission to create a unique and delicious beer that we could market and sell exclusively in our restaurant. My mission: The perfect oyster stout. It seemed like a bizarre idea at the time, but with a little research found that it wasn’t unheard of and actually was quite delicious.
