Directions
From Interstate 95: Take Exit 88. At the end of the exit, go North on Route 117. The Vineyards and Winery are just North of Center Ledyard, on the Left hand Side, about 6.5 miles North of Route 95. From Foxwoods Casino: Just a 5 minute ride. Take Route 214 South to the intersection with Route 117. Bear right and proceed north on Route 117 for ½ mile, the Winery is on the left. Look for the Blue Wine Trail Signs. From Mohegan Casino: 10 minutes and you’re here. Take the Mohegan Boulevard North passing over the Thames River Bridge. At the traffic signal bear left on to Route 12 North for approximately 2,000 feet. Take a right on to Route 2A, at the Church take a right on to Route 117, and proceed 5.5 miles. Watch for the Blue Wine Trail Signs. The Vineyards and Winery are on the right hand side of Colonel Ledyard Highway (CT Route 117).

1740 Ledyard House Red
Our Estate Grown St. Croix wine is blended with Merlot for a clean fruit forward taste, highlighting blackberry, plum and currant flavors. Best paired with Grilled Cuisine, Cheese and of course Chocolate.

1740 Ledyard House Rosé
This wine is based on our Estate Grown St. Croix grape. These red grapes are harvested, crushed and pressed. They are treated just as one would, to make a white wine. This must is cold fermented after pressing, without its skins in small batches. This delicate, smooth, and dry finishing wine is blended with a splash of White Merlot. The White Merlot adds a little bit of “No se Qué” to the wine. This wine is like having a little bit of summer sunshine in every glass. It is best paired with fresh fruit, cheeses and of course friends while picnicking at Maugle Sierra Vineyards.

1740 Ledyard House White
Nearly 100% Chardonnay with a splash of Golden Vidal, cold fermented in Stainless Steel. It is with made in small batches delivering delicate flavors. With a bouquet of Apricot and Pears and a Clean, Crisp Finish, this wine is simply delicious. It is best paired with Seafood and as an aperitif.

Espíritu de St. Croix
Our Ledyard Estate Grown St. Croix wine is triple fermented and aged for years in toasted American Oak Barrels delivering smooth creamy, blackberry, currant and plum flavor, with a whisper of Chocolate. Best served AS Dessert or as an aperitif for that Special Occasion!!!

Ledyard Sunset Red
This wine is a delightful blend of our Estate Grown St. Croix wine with Cabernet Franc. The wine has a classic Cabernet bouquet, with medium body, dry red -- wonderfully combined with the dark berries and currant flavors of our unique St. Croix. It is smooth, delicious with a delicate lingering finish. Bronze medal winner in the prestigious 2009 Big E Northeast Gold Wine Competition.

Ledyard Sunset White
This delightful South Eastern New England Appellation Vidal is aged to a creamy light texture and sublime sweetness with a warm glowing golden color. It is smooth, with hints of Apricot, and Pear and a delightful finish. Best served with blue cheese and walnuts or a mixed fruit salad.

St. Croix
Our Ledyard Estate Grown St. Croix is selectively hand picked and cold fermented in small batches. This wine is aged in American Oak Barrels delivering intense flavors and smooth. This intensively fruit forward wine finishes in a semi-dry style, capturing the unique blackberry, plum and currant fruit flavors. Best paired with Spicy Cuisine, Red Pasta Sauce, and Cheese and of course Chocolate.
