Cenita Farms began in 2007 in honor of Juanita Crumley, the late Cecil Crumley, and Lanier and Barbara Cambers. The “Ce” in Cenita is Cecil and the “Nita” in Cenita is Juanita.
In 2008 and 2009, Cenita’s Vineyards were first planted on part of the site of Cecil and Juanita’s first dairy farm.
Cenita’s wine grapes are annually sold to their neighbors on the other side of Yonah Mountain, Sautee-Nacoochee Vineyards.
2015 marks the beginning of Cenita Winery and Tasting Room. We cherish our family, chambers and Crumleys, and hope to honor them with this legacy.
