The house, built in 1903 by Dr. Alois Wollenmann, was unique in that it replicated a Swiss chalet similar to what the good doctor remembered from his native Switzerland. It has since been restored and is now home to Monkey Hollow’s restaurant and satellite winery. The delicious seasonal locally grown foods paired with Monkey Hollow’s award winning wines makes this restaurant a delightful place to eat!
Whether you visit them at the winery, restaurant, or out at a festival, you will find a well-rounded wine list that includes dry, semi-sweet and sweet wines. Monkey Hollow strives to craft wines for all to enjoy and many of their wines are made in small batches from their estate grown grapes, which allows them to experiment with new and exciting wines. Although they cannot guarantee the availability of a particular wine throughout the year, we are confident that you will always find something to enjoy!
