Nestled in the hills of northwest Connecticut, the Litchfield Distillery is Connecticut’s newest micro-distillery. Our first brand launch is KROFTERS, which includes three handcrafted, premium spirits: Whiskey, Litchfield County Bourbon Whiskey, and Litchfield Gin. Our mission is to produce exceptionally distilled spirits handcrafted from the highest quality, regionally harvested grains. KROFTERS Whiskey
Our KROFTERS Whiskey utilizes a two-step barreling process and is aged in 8-year bourbon cooperage. Our Bourbon mash and barreling technique produces a wonderfully smooth spirit with an enticing nutty, caramel nose and a smokey, oak finish.

Litchfield County Bourbon
Traditionally aged in #4 Charred Barrels, our Litchfield County Bourbon Whiskey displays a beautiful amber color and releases wonderful vanilla and butterscotch notes. It has a smooth, balanced taste with a slightly peppery finish. Our mash bill is 75% corn, 23% rye, and 2% barley. It’s smooth sipping and mixes extremely well with cocktails like Old-Fashioned’s.

Litchfield Gin
We use select botanicals, masterfully balanced to create our Litchfield Gin. We worked hard to create a gin that’s slightly on the sweet side but that retains a classic juniper signature with citrus overtones. The result is a very smooth spirit with an evolving, crisp finish. It’s martini-grade; serve it neat or in mixed drinks.
