Located in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana and bordering Hoosier National Forest, Salt Creek Winery was established in 2010 by Adrian and Nichole Lee. Starting as a hobby, winemaking became a passion for us. Using the finest ingredients, we strive to produce quality wines that are minimally processed. We believe in using local ingredients whenever possible. We believe that mechanical filtering and chemical fining takes a certain quality out of the wine. Therefore, we only filter and fine our wines when absolutely necessary for shelf life.
Although some of the finest wines in the world are produced from grapes, there are other fruits that also produce truly delicious and unique wines. "Country" Wine is a favorite of Hoosiers. Along with grape wines, we produce wines from fruits such as blueberries, peaches, red raspberries, strawberries, cherries, pears, plumb and our specialty...hand-picked wild blackberries from the around the Hoosier National Forest.
After a sucsessful 1st year in business, we have expanded our facility and as of August 2012 we now have a tasting room offering complimentary tastings and a covered patio for a place to sit and enjoy a glass. Future plans include live entertainment and cheese and cracker sales.

Catawba

Chambourcin
This French-American Hybrid grape grown in Southern Indiana produces a beautiful, deep red, medium- bodied dry wine with herbaceous aromas and a crisp acidity. Lightly oaked with French oak. Pairs exceptionally well with anything chocolate as well as pork, beef and lamb.

This wine is sure to delight the senses! Made from 100% fermented Indiana Peaches and sweetened just enough to enjoy with or without a meal. Treat yourself, you'll be glad you did!

Red Raspberry
Bursting with the aroma and flavor of fresh picked red raspberries and their characteristic tartness, this 100% fruit wine pairs well with any dessert, especially dark chocolate!

Sunset Red
A drier version of our Sweet Red which allows the more complex flavors of the Concord grape to shine through. Sunset Red is perfect for a table wine and for anyone that enjoys the classic grape flavor of Concord but not the sweetness typically found in a Concord wine. Come and explore what the Vitis labrusca really has to offer....we think you will be surprised.
