Dunc’s Elderflower Rum is like a deep breath of clean Vermont air. We combine our rum with a bouquet of the finest wild-picked Vermont elderflowers and our own hybrid black and white elder to produce a flavor as bounteous and bright as a field of fresh flowers. Dunc’s Maple Rum starts in the earliest days of spring. We trudge through snowy acres in the hills around Dunc’s Mill, tapping hundreds of native sugar maple trees. We then slowly boil the collected sap, producing a sweet, robust syrup, and add it to our sugarcane rum. Smooth, satisfyingly sweet, rich yet balanced, Dunc’s Mill Maple Rum brings Vermont’s sugaring tradition from our woods to your glass. Notes of oak, honey and stone fruit complement and add to the complexity of this unique treat.

Dunc’s Mill Backwoods Reserve is our highest-caliber, reserve-label pure rum. Distilled from both pure sugar cane and dark molasses, Dunc’s Backwoods Reserve is a traditional amber rum with a distinctly Dunc’s twist. We age the Backwoods in specially selected small barrels of Hungarian oak in order to obtain a complex but surprisingly smooth flavor profile. Notes of sweet spice and vanilla round out this unique spirit. We call the Backwoods our ‘sipping rum’ and recommend it neat or on the rocks – but it’s also a one-of-a-kind substitute for whiskey cocktails!
