Fridays Creek Winery

Fridays Creek Winery Fridays Creek Winery is located in Southern Maryland's Calvert County just 17 miles from the Capital Beltway. The winery is located about 2 miles west on Chaneyville Road. We have an acre of vines to tour at the winery and a larger vineyard down the road on the shores of the Patuxent River.

From DC, take I-495 exit Rte 4 South to Chaneyville Road to Friday's Creek Winery on the right.

  Barbera
Bright & Fruity, apricots and raisin flavors in the firm body, rustic tannin finish.
  Blueberry
Made from 100% Blueberries, this dessert wine is wonderful. The 5% residual sugar gives it a “Sweet-Tart” quality that will bring you back for more.
  Blush
A sweeter offering , refreshing and light bodied with grape and citrus tones and a crisp finish.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
A beautifully clear, garnet red Cab. Soft balanced tannins with lots of vanilla from the American Oak barrel aging. Smokey and toasty with a peppery finish.
  Chambourcin
Vintage Maryland Red Wine from our vineyard. Nutty upfront cherries and currants with hints of vanilla & mineral in a long finish.
  Chardonnay
Stone fruits, Pear and apples hazelnut sweetwood and toast show in this barrel aged white wine.
  Concord
Maryland Red Wine from our vineyard. A sweet Concord wine, tastes of the bygone time grape jams
  Friday Afternoon
This red is a blend of two northern red grapes, Rougheon and Rosette. With notes of apricot and floral essences. It has a well balanced tartness with a nice finish.
  Fridays Creek Traminette
Sweet spicy with a clean finish Fridays Creek Traminette loves to be served with anything with sweet brown spices, like cumin roasted potatoes, twice baked sweet potatoes, brown sugar and thyme rubbed turkey, and roasted pearl onions
  Gewürztraminer
A Lively dry white wine, Up front fruits and a peppery finish describe this brilliantly clear light golden wine.
  Merlot
We are pleased with the up front tannins in our Merlot. It has hints of plum, cloves and pepper, with a long spicey finish.
  Old Vine Zinfandel
A light bodied red Zin, with jam and licorice notes enhanced by the vanilla from the American Oak barrels.
  Patio White
A refreshing white wine, simple grape flavors, subtle oak, with a citrus finish.
  Raspberry
There’s no hiding the nature of this wine. Also made from 100% fruit, but with only 5% residual sugar, this dessert wine is not overly sweet but well balanced. The strong fruit aromas are unmistakable.
  Riesling
Our Riesling is a semi-sweet white wine with characteristic tropical fruit and honeysuckle aromas.
  Seyval Blanc
This semi-dry white wine has a pale honey color, bright clarity, and clean varietals fruit characteristics.
  Sweet Vidal
Our Vidal is sweet, in fact it is the sweetest white wine we make. So if you like sweet whites this Vidal is for you. It has crisp tartness with delicate fruit.
  Syrah
Just released – dark berries and currants, toasted oak and spices.
