?Located on the beautiful island of Hornby in British Columbia, the Hi Winery was established in 1999 and first started selling its wine in 2010. A perhaps little known fact is that Hornby Island is part of a phenomenon that has come to be known as the 'Wine Islands'. Not alone, Hornby Island shares the title with many other islands in the Salish Sea, including Vancouver Island. This means we are located in one of the major wine-growing regions in British Columbia; a fact attributable to the region's extended growing hours and long, hot and dry summers. Sounds great!
