Originating high in the mountains of Idaho the Lochsa River forms the headwaters of the Clearwater. Treasured for its whitewater and deep pools, the Lochsa River is a source of pride to all who have enjoyed her charms. This wine is made exclusively from local vineyards of the Clearwater Region: Arnett, Ellis, Riverbend, and Umiker Vineyards.

The grapes selected from the sun-kissed Verhey Vineyard just downstream of the Union Gap along the Yakima River gave rise to this beautiful wine.

A bold, dense-structured, almost earthy style wine with vivid black currant and a subtle mocha richness. A majority of the grapes come from the Arnett Vineyard - Clarkston, WA

Dark intense nose with good depth of ripe fruit. The palate is concentrated with rich, sun-drenched fruit and smooth, spicy, firm tannins. A powerful wine in a very limited production! Available exclusively in the tasting room.
