Anglim Winery is a small, family-owned label focused on producing vineyard-designate Rhône varietals with grapes from some of the finest growers in California, such as Fralich Vineyard and French Camp Vineyard in Paso Robles, and the Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Maria. We realize that stellar wines begin in the vineyard, so we are passionate about sourcing the finest fruit for Anglim wines. Our limited case production of 2,000 to 3,000 cases a year allows us to handcraft our wines in small lots with a combination of tradition and innovation. We use 100 percent French oak, but manage the new oak percentages to create wines with a balanced style, and enough character to be cellared but enough elegance to be enjoyed now.

Syrah - Fralich Vineyard
This wine is elegant and well structured, with a good amount of oak. It has aromas of vanilla, tobacco, and toast. Flavors include blackberry, toasty oak, coffee, and smoke with a finish of black pepper and tobacco. This wine compliments full-flavored foods, such as spicy dry rub spareribs or Cajun dishes.

Full-bodied, with aromas toasty blackberry jam, and flavors of ripe blackberries, black cherries, and pepper.

Syrah - Santa Barbara County
This is a rich and multi-layered Syrah, with aromas of blueberry, cherry, cedar, spice, and a touch of mint. The wine has flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and white pepper with a hint of fresh herbs, framed by lingering fine tannins. A cool climate Syrah loaded with fruit that will unfold and develop over the years. A great match with classic Rhone dishes such as roasted lamb shank with white beans, sautéed venison, duck, or grilled portabella mushrooms.

Viognier – Bien Nacido Vineyard
A distinctive Viognier, with aromas of citrus zest and flavors of lemon, lime, and lychee with a mineral note in the structure and on the finish. Crisp and flavorful with a bright nose, the wine will pair well with a variety of foods, such as lemon caper pasta, grilled seafood and Asian dishes.

Viognier - Fralich Vineyard
This wine has aromas of melon and honey. Flavors include stone fruits and vanilla with a touch of oak. Rich and velvety, this will pair well with more flavorful foods than most white wines. Try it with grilled black pepper albacore tuna, chicken dishes, and roasted pork.
