Over 63 acres of the prestigious Golden Mile Bench in Oliver, BC are home to C.C. Jentsch Cellars where the Jentsch family has been farming fruit since 1929. Chris Jentsch has been a farmer his whole life, growing cherries first and then planting to vinifera grapes in 2004, selling to large wineries. When his grape contracts expired he made the decision to start on his own!
Winemaker Amber Pratt (Jones) joined him in 2013 and is now crafting Chris Jentsch’s (pronounced Yen-ch, and rhymes with bench) estate-grown fruit into five premium labels that are almost as hard to pronounce as his last name. Viognier, Gewurztraminer, Syrah, 'The Dance' (rose) and 'The Chase' establish his portfolio. 'The Chase' and its sister rose 'The Dance' are both Bordeaux-style blends, but not just your typical three-grape brew, these wines boast 5 of the 6 classic Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, and Petite Verdot.
At C.C. Jentsch Cellars, the focus on crafting the finest fruit into honestly made, premium wines that represent outstanding quality and value. All of these luscious wines come from sun-soaked, mature, Okanagan fruit and with a very reasonable price tag.

Directions
Our winery is directly on Highway 97, approximately six kilometers south of Oliver, and just past Road 13.
