The powerful nose displays a complex array of blackberry, boysenberry, ripe blueberry, wild strawberry, caramel, pipe tobacco, black tea, and dried flowers. The rich and structured front palate show ripe blackberry, bing cherry, plum, cola, oak spice, and vanilla with fine-grained tannins and excellent length.

Displays a lively nose of ripe blueberry, black cherry, black raspberry, cocoa, allspice and anise. The palate is rich and ripe showing wild cherry, black raspberry, dried cranberry, mocha, brown sugar, toast and clove with incredible length and fine tannins.

Classic Syrah aromas of smoked meat, black cherry, flint, leather, cedar, cassis black pepper and mint. The palate displays wild black cherry, anise, earth, dark chocolate and leather. Slightly meaty, with good weight and dusty tannins.

The effusive nose is loaded with freshly-crushed blackberry, graphite, smoke, licorice, dried mission fig, vanilla and grilled meat. The bright and lively front palate shows ripe blackberry, cassis, flint, asian spices and dark chocolate with supple, cocoa-like tannins on the finish.

As is typical of the vintage, the 2003 Yamhill Cuvée is loaded with ripe and spicy aromas of dark cherry plum, candied strawberry, sandalwood, beetroot, cola, anise, candle wax and allspice. The palate is full and supple, showing lots of ripe strawberry, dark cherry, sassafras, citrus and slight tarragon with an incredibly long and silky finish.
