inetop Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by James Maloney with the intention of creating the first Micro-Brewery in Northeastern Arizona.
PBC opened it’s doors in November of 2012 and operated a Nano 1/2 bbl system. At first, Pinetop Brewing Company was just a small tap room with limited production and hours of operation. In the Spring of 2013 James upgraded his brewing system to a 3.5BBL and significantly added to his production capabilities. During the winter of 2014 PBC upgraded again and added two 7BBL fermenters.
PBC’s Head Brewer is Tom Piazza out of Pine, AZ. Tom has won several state awards for his beers. Prior to joining PBC, Tom ran Mountain Top Brewery in Payson, AZ, and he distributed his beer across the state. Tom brings with him many years of brewing experience. Tom is assisted by local firefighter, Mason Manhardt, out of Show Low, AZ.
PBC brews all of it’s beers out of the Pinetop-Lakeside location at 7,000 feet elevation. In addition to our outstanding beers, we also serve BBQ food and Pizza. We hope to see you at our Tap Room or enjoying some food on our outdoor patio.
