  Coeur du Terroir Blanc
Aromas of melon, honeysuckle, and orange blossoms have an underlying mineral essence inherent in our vineyard. Our Rhone white blend is co-harvested and co-fermented to make a balance blend. A crisp finish follows flavors of stone fruit and citrus. Our Coeur du Terroir wines, translated as ‘heart of the earth’, are the best expressions of our Rhone estate. Our 2006 Coeur du Terroir Blanc was fermented in a combination of stainless steel and neutral barrels. 217 cases produced. 43% Roussanne, 17% Grenache Blanc, 17% Rolle, 17% Marsanne, 6% Viognier
  du Terroir Rouge
This is the first of many vintages of fine estate Rhone blends at DGV. Aromas of cherries, herbs de province and toasted vanilla are complimented by the big fruit and textured mid pallet of the blend. When decanted, the Coeur Rouge expresses provincial and spicy characters and is framed by soft, well placed tannins. It was barrel aged for 18 months in a combination of new, 1yr & 2yr French Oak. 418 cases produced.
  Grenache
Our 2005 Grenache expresses our vineyard site best with floral notes, rich brandied cherry aromas, and subtle complexities of earthiness and cocoa. An approachable structure makes this wine a value for instant gratification. A generous mouthful of fruit is accompanied by fine grain tannins and spice.
  Mourvedre
Our first production of 100% Mourvedre brings new flavors to the bar and demands an introduction. The initial mouth feel of velvet and satin ribbons is followed by a chalky earth character, traditionally found in this key Rhone varietal. The long, full finish leaves the mark of a classic fine wine. Barrel aged for 19 months in 1 and 2 year old French Oak.
  Rive d’Or
A blend of four Bordeaux varietals, this wine makes a lasting impression. Aromas of vanilla, dark cherries, and a touch of earth from the forest floor introduce this classic blend. A touch of American oak coupled with Malbec bring forth the sweetness of chocolate while the Cabernet Franc stands bold and angular. Tannins are indicated by a touch of rusticity on the finish. This wine would pair well with hearty beef dishes. 44% Cabernet Franc, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 6% Malbec
  Rosé
Our estate Rosé is a brilliant blend of classic Rhone Varietals. Amazingly aromatic, this wine jumps out of the glass with guava, citrus, and hints of juniper and pine. A bright mouthfeel with round edges and remarkable weight accent the quality of this wine. It finishes crisp and fresh. 170 cases produced. 50% Grenache, 35% Mourvedre, 15% Counoise
  Syrah
A powerful and inky Syrah with very focused tannins and flavor profile. Aromas of bright raspberries and cherries are layered over a core of chocolate and darker fruits. A full bodied Syrah with juicy tannins and great acid balance. This wine has the best cellaring potential of our lineup. Enjoy now through 2012. 172 cases produced.
