Poocham Hill Winery

Located in southwestern New Hampshire, our vines grow in clay and gravel laid down by Lake Hitchcock that existed over ten thousand years ago. The farm was built in the early 1800s, an antique barn houses the winery.
We have chosen varietals that grow with vigor in these ancient soils: Frontenac, Seyval, LaCrosse, St. Croix, Frontenac Gris, Marquette, Foch, Noiret, and La Crescent. The distinct character of each is preserved through careful hand harvesting and attentive fermentation.

Directions
FROM WALPOLE, NH: Take Rt. 12 South 5.1 miles then go right on Rt. 63. Go 2.3 miles, and then take a right on River Road. Go 2.1 miles and take a left on Poocham Rd. There is a red school house on the corner. Go 1 mile and you will see Poocham Winery on the right.
FROM BRATTLEBORO, VT: Take Interstate 91 Exit 3. Take 2nd exit in round-about, and continue on Rt. 9 for 2.5 miles. Take Brook Street for 0.6 miles then a left on Main Street for 0.4 miles. This will turn into River Rd. Go 5.4 miles on River Rd, then take a right on Poocham Rd and continue 1 mile to Poocham Hill Winery.
An alternate route: Continue past Brooks Street for another 2.3 miles. Take a left on Pond Brook Road. Go 0.5 miles and take a right on Poocham Rd. Go 3.2 miles and arrive at Poocham Hill Winery.
FROM KEENE, NH: From the Rt. 9/101 & Rt.12 intersection: take a right onto Rt. 12 North. Go 6.3 miles. Take a left onto South Village Road and go 3.7 mile to the center of Westmoreland Village. Go left onto Rt. 63 and go 1 mile. Take a right on Butterfield Hill Road and go 1 mile. Bear left on Payne Road (dirt) and go 1 mile, and then take a left onto Cross Rd. for 0.2 miles, arriving at Poocham Hill Winery.
