The Cellar at White Oak

The Cellar Winery at White Oak was established in March 2015, when the opportunity once again arose to take over the vineyards and wine producing operation at White Oak. The timing was right this time and they decided to jump in with both feet! It took over a year to get the grape production revitalized and transitioned into wine, but the wines have been bottled and into retail distribution since May 2016.
At The Cellar, we invite you to stop in and taste the wines. Enjoy a bottle at your own table, or outside if the weather is permitting. We welcome you join us at any of our events and let us know what you think. We want you to be comfortable, relaxed, and have an enjoyable experience. Then we would like to see you again!

Directions
Traveling north on I-35, take exit 96 (Elkhart). Turn right off the exit (east) and go approximately 1 1/4 miles to NE 38th St.,turn left (north), go 3 miles to a paved crossroad (150th St.), turn right & you will see The Cellar at White Oak on your left. Traveling south on I-35, take exit 102 (Slater). Turn left off the exit (east) and go approximately 2 miles to NE 585th Ave.(the Cambridge/Elkhart road), turn right (south) for 3 miles. When you come to a major intersection (paved roads both ways or 150th St.), turn left & you will see The Cellar at White Oak on your left.

Celebrate
This blend of French-American hybrid grapes has been one of our customers "Most Popular". It resembles a White Merlot with a cranberry tartness that leaves you with a pleasant mouth feel and after taste. It simply pairs well with anything you like!

Country Road Red
This is our most complex red wine with its semi-sweet initial taste and dry after taste it has been described as a slightly sweetened Merlot. It can be served chilled as well as at room temperature and complements pizza, pasta with red sauce as well as most cheese.

Evelyns Blush
An interesting blush semi-sweet wine. A slightly dryer version of a White Zinfandel, Good with hors d’oeuvres and cheeses of all kinds.

La Crescent
A perfect balance and undertone of peach, white apricot and citrus flavors that flood your palate. Accent your favorite dessert with this one of a kind Iowa wine. Pair with lemon cookies, tortes, apple pie or anything dessert. Comes in a 375 ml bottle.

Prairie Rose
Crafted to showcase the luscious flavors encompassed by this wine, Prairie Rose bridges the gap between dry and sweet.

St. Croix
St. Croix is a full bodied dry red wine reminiscent of rich cabernet Sauvignons with its deep red color and full mouth feel. This wine has been aged on french oak and is an excellent choice for dry red wine lovers. A good steak would be a must for this wine.

Summer Breeze
This Riesling style sweet variety captures the aroma and taste of freshly picked grapes. This wine is also one of our customers "Most Popular" choices, sweet initial taste with a nice crisp after taste. You will enjoy this wine with fruit and various deserts not to mention by itself!
