August Schell Brewing Company Schell’s is the second oldest family-run brewery in the US. FireBrick was introduced in 1999, and is named after the bricks that line Schell's old boilers. It is the culmination of an effort to bridge the gap between the "popular-tasting" beers and the heartier, hand-crafted ones. FireBrick is a refreshing all-malt lager with an amber-red hue that reflects the feeling of the brewery itself. It has been described by Ted Marti as having a "subtle maltiness combined with a hint of hoppy taste that creates a mild, pleasantly drinkable beer." It is made with four specialty malts, along with Vanguard, Chinook and Hallertau hops.
Originally brewed in 1984, Schell's Pils is a shining example of the true European Pilsner style beer. Brewed with 100 percent barley malt, where the Sterling Hop flavor is showcased. Its full hop characteristic and delicate aroma were developed in Pilsen, Bohemia around 1840. This style was widely copied by early American breweries. Over the years, however, it has been lost to the much lighter-bodied, low-hopped relatives we refer to as American "Premium Category" beer.
  Schell’s Stout
Schell’s Stout has been chosen as our newest year round craft beer offering. As our 2006 Snow Storm, the Stout received so many requests to bring the beer back, we simply couldn’t ignore them. A departure from our traditional German style lagers, our Schell’s Stout is a London-Style Sweet Stout. If you enjoy the taste of coffee and chocolate, you’ll love this delicious brew. We used only the finest malts imported from Great Britain. Sure, it might cost a little more to brew, but we’re certain you’ll agree it’s worth it.
  Schell's Dark
This beer is dark because the barley is roasted longer– a flavorful lager that everyone will enjoy.
  Schell's Deer Brand
Schell's Deer Brand was developed prior to Prohibition and has been Schell's flagship beer ever since. Brewed from 70 percent barley malt, 30 percent corn, and our unique 'Schell' yeast, Deer Brand is full flavored American Lager.
