Delaney Vineyards

Delaney Vineyards Delaney Vineyards conveys a feeling of the Old World with its Bordeau-style chateau is elegantly decorated with handpainted murals, forged iron and aged wood. The heart of the building, aptly named the "Grand Barrel Room," covers 5,200-square foot with a variety of lighting to set the right mood for any occasion. The interior brick walls of the room are lined with oak barrels, while the 40-foot vaulted ceiling adds to the Old World atmosphere of this unique setting. An Italian granite tasting bar highlights the richness of this beautifully decorated room. The back of the building is home to a fully operational Tank Room. This 1,000-square foot area contains a number of stainless steel fermentation tanks, the Bottling Room and plenty of space to host a cocktail party. Adjoining the Grand Barrel Room is a 1,500-square foot covered patio known as the "Crush Pad," which overlooks 10-acres of lush grapevines. During harvest, this area is used for the Annual Grape Stomp. The rest of the year during the long, hot days in Texas, visitors can enjoy overhead fans and roll down screens or cozy up to heaters during the cooler days of the year.

  Cabernet Sauvignon
Made from a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot and 12% Cabernet Franc, this Cabernet Sauvignon was blended two months after the end of fermentation, then aged 10 months in new French Oak. The result is a mature, delicate wine that offers a bouquet of cherries and is a perfect accompaniment to red meat and venison.
  Chardonnay Reserve
A unique and complex white, dry wine. This First Place winner of the Grapefest People's Choice Award develops its uniqueness from aging 12 months in French Oak Barrels. Grown in our vineyard located in the High Plains of Texas, this superb wine is served chilled with your favorite salad, fish, pork, chicken, or cheese. Winner of one gold, four silver, and one bronze medal.
  Merlot
This Delaney Estate Merlot is aged 12 months in French Oak following the initial fermentation process. This medium bodied dry wine is both soft and smooth to the palate and pairs well with both meat and pasta dishes.

  Sauvignon Blanc
A light, fresh wine that captures the floral and citrus flavors of the Sauvignon Blanc, it is milder than a Chardonnay and totally dry. Served chilled, it makes a superb summer wine and the perfect accompaniment to freshwater fish, such as salmon or trout
  Sweet Texas Red (NV)
Our first sweet red wine, it is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot. The residual sugar gives this sweet wine softness and balance in contrast to the sharpness and intense body of traditional red wine. Enjoy it chilled or at room temperature as a desert, with a salad or barbeque.
  Texas Champagne Brut (NV)
Delaney Vineyards' Methode Champenoise Brut is made by the traditional bottle fermented method, using the same varieties of grapes as grown in the Champagne Region of France. This bottle is the one in which the wine was fermented and laid to rest for 24 months. This wine can be served with any type of course and all through dinner. Served as an apéritif, this Brut creates a festive ambiance.
  Texas Claret
An English favorite dating back to the 17th Century, Texas Claret is a typical French Claret made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. The virtue of Claret resides in its fruitiness and fresh nose. With its peppery finish, the Texas Claret will hold true and keep its qualities matching well with spicy dishes, like pepper steak, Mexican, Italian and Texas barbeque.
  Texas Rose (NV)
With a fruity, semi sweet beginning, this Petit Verdot/Chardonnay blend provides a savory, lingering finish for both novice and experienced wine palates. A consistent medal winner, Texas Rose has been awarded 11 Medals in International Wine Competition over the last 6 years.
  Three Daughters
A dry red wine named after Jerry Delaney’s three daughters. The Petite Verdot grape gives this wine firmness and has the character of his daughter Jennifer. The fruity aromas of the Cabernet Sauvignon, associated with his daughter Morgan, makes it full bodied. The spiciness of the Cabernet Franc reminds him of his daughter Diane, a wine that will age and mature well in the bottle. This fine wine pairs well with the spicy cuisine of the Southwest.
