Apponaug Brewing Company is located in the historic Pontiac Mills. We believe that nothing connects people like sharing a great beer and a delicious bite. More than just another brewpub, Apponaug Brewing is our vision of a Third Place, an essential refuge apart from the daily hustles of home and work. This is a community where you can meet up with good friends or make unexpected ones while experiencing the energy of a working brewery.
Beer is the soul of Apponaug Brewing and creating great beer in our 10BBL (310 gallon) Brewhouse is what we are all about. Our Brewers proudly draw from the rich history of brewing to create fresh takes on classic styles and unique flavors -- all served direct from the tanks. We are designing a pairing menu to complement our beer selections.

Hurricane Amber Ale
The first offering from the Coastal Extreme Brewing Company blends some of the world's finest ingredients into a delightful beer. In producing our amber ale, we selected the highest quality European and American malts and hops. This ale has a malt character which is delicately balanced with its hop profile so that consumers of all levels enjoy drinking it. Hurricane Amber Ale is a full flavored beer which clearly has more taste than other domestic and imported light beers while at the same time does not overpower the drinker with heavy body or excessive bitterness. So find yourself a cold 'Hurricane' and ENJOY!

Regenschauer Oktoberfest
A Märzen style lager abound with sweet malt flavor and a complex hop aroma. "Regenschauer" is the German word for rainstorm that fits perfectly with autumn in New England as well as this beer made in the traditional Oktoberfest style. This hearty lager has a toasted malt flavor typical of the German malts used to make it. Its aroma is a mixture of hop citrus and a faint hint of the lager yeasts used to make it.

Rhode Island Blueberry Ale
A great ale made with real blueberries from a local Rhode Island farm. You can find it in bottles and on tap in select locations.

Spring Ale
Deep ruby red in color, this well balanced ale has roasted malt tones and a crisp hop character. It is in the Irish tradition and comes just in time for springtime thunderstorms.

Summer Ale
A true India Pale Ale. High in gravity and loaded with hops. We add cascade hops straight into the fermentor creating a full citrus nose and lasting aftertaste. This crisp brew is perfect for those warm days of summer

Winter Ale
**2005 GIBF medal winner**A full bodied, dark porter with a profound toasted flavor balanced with ample hopping. Dedicated to the Blizzard of 1978, this porter is perfect for a winter day. A hint of roasted chocolate and a spicy aftertaste warm the soul of this brew.
