Running Brook Vineyards

Running Brook Vineyards Welcome to Running Brook. We are currently building a new winery located in North Dartmouth Massachusetts. Our vineyards are located in Westport and Dartmouth Massachusetts. At Running Brook, we produce fine still and sparkling wines. We currently have Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Vidal Blanc, Gewurtstraminer, Petite Verdot and Riesling vines in production, among with many other varieties being trialed in the region. Our wines may be tasted and purchased directly from the winery. You can also find a list of restaurants and retailers that carry our wines on the links page. Wine tasting is free at Running Brook Winery while our facilities are under construction. We are open daily from 11am to 4pm or by appointment. We hope to complete construction of the second phase of the winery by the spring of 2006. The winery will then be open for tours, activities, functions and meetings.

  Cabernet Franc
Cabernet Franc, one of the great wines of French varietals, lends itself well to growing in our cool climate. Our wine with its European reminiscent style makes it compatible with a wide variety of foods. This acid driven wine, combined with balancing light tannins and ripe fruity flavors tantalizes both the nose and palate.
  Chardonnay
This cool climate New England style Chardonnay is acid driven and aged for 2 years in old French oak giving it a clean, crisp fruity taste balanced with full bodied light oak flavor and 100% malolactic fermentation.
  White Merlot
This fine wine is made in the same method as a White Zinfandel or a White Burgundy. The fruit is pressed with light skin contact giving it its light red color. The wine is fermented and aged for 2 years in stainless steel. Our dry white merlot is acid driven and reminiscent of a French Rosé.
