Monkey Hollow Winery is nestled in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana in an area of rich German history stretching back over 150 years. While the vineyard is a recent addition, grapes have been grown here from the time of the our German ancestors and the spirit of winemaking is ripe within the community.
Our Vineyard was born when the family came together and planted our first 300 grape vines in the Fall of 2003. We expanded to almost 2 acres in the spring of 2004 and now the vineyard stretches across approximately 7 acres with our most recent additions this spring. We grow 10 varieties of French Hybrid, American, and French grape varieties.The Winery was next and construction began in the Spring of 2010 and our doors opened in May of 2011.

From the Ferdinand/Santa Claus Exit of I-64 (Exit 63) – Head SOUTH on IN-162 for approximately 2.5 miles (4 way stop). Turn Left (East) onto IN-62 E towards Saint Meinrad for .9 (9/10 of a mile) miles. Turn Right onto the Fulda Shortcut (County Rd 1010E) for 2.5 miles. Turn Left onto E. County Rd 1740N for .7 (7/10) Miles. Monkey Hollow Winery will be on your left - can't miss it!
