This organic vineyard graces a beautiful western slope of Lake Okanagan. It began life as a family orchard nestled between the quaint town of Summerland, BC and the lakeshore. Over the last five years, it has been transformed into a vineyard under the careful eye of its owner Rick Thrussell, the vineyard dog Eli and a host of family and friends. The harvest of 2012 has been carefully handpicked and will become Sage Hills first vintages – its Virgin Vintages. Stay tuned for the blog series released before Christmas 2012 – The Virgin Vintages – that introduce you to the dream of a teenage boy that culminates in the first pour of Sage Hills Wines.
