As you crest the hill just north of Adel, you'll come across a place where the roots of the past meet the ways of today. That place is Penoach Vineyard & Winery. The 1900-era farmstead nestled into 10 acres of grapevines and is surrounded by gently rolling hills.
The barn, originally built in 1917, has been transformed into a relaxing place where you can gather with friends for a sample of Penoach wine and good conversation. We've added a covered patio where visitors can enjoy the scenery and even take in a sunset over the vineyard. Enjoy a game of ladder ball or Bocce ball on the lawn!
At Penoach, we take care of our wine from start to finish. Eight different varieties of grapes are grown just steps from the patio. Visitors can walk through the grape vines and see first-hand the quality of our product.

Directions
From I-35: Take Exit 125 onto Highway 6, travel west thirteen miles to Adel. In Adel, turn north on to Highway 169/Nile Kinnick Drive. Continue north out of town, approximately two miles. Penoach is on the left (west) side of highway. From I-80: Take Exit 110 onto Highway 169. Travel north five miles to Adel. Continue on Highway 169 north out of town, approximately two miles. Penoach is on the left (west) side of highway.

Semi-dry white wine made from our own Edelweiss grapes, but finished dryer than the usual Edelweiss wine. Floral and tart. Nice with cheese and crackers.

Sweet red blend of St. Vincent and Concord. A Penoach favorite. Loves to party!
