Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery was founded to produce the finest honey wines (Meads) in the Midwest. We are Chicago's first winery and Illinois’ only meadery on the Northern Illinois Wine Trail. We are especially proud to utilize local honeys and fruits in both traditional and contemporary styles of meads. Our honey bees collect nectar from the prairies of Illinois and the sand dunes of Lake Michigan. We also have select locations in the City of Chicago where industry has left and nature has reclaimed vacant lots and parking areas with wild flowers. Our honeybees forage these areas in addition to the beautiful gardens that typify our city. Wild Blossom is also part of Bev Art Brewer & Winemaker Supply, which teaches both beer and wine making classes where students make their own beer or wine in class.

BLANC de FLEUR
A dry traditional mead similar to a Riesling. Fleur de Blanc, a semi dry style mead with floral honey tones and a crisp fruity flavor. Served chilled, this engaging wine is perfect on its own or with fish, chicken and light cheeses. This mead is made from the nectar of wildflowers collected by honey bees from the prairies of the Midwest.

CRAN-NECTAR
A semi-dry honey wine fermented with Wisconsin cranberries. Crisp and refreshing with a wonderful pink hue.

MEADOW MEAD
A semi dry mead similar to a German Spatlase Riesling. Meadow Mead has a floral nose, a slight herbal character and crisp finish. Excellent with spicy foods and pairs well with sushi.

PRAIRIE PASSION In the tradition of "Honeymoon" or aphrodisiacal meads, this luscious sweet wine stirs the senses and arouses the passions.
