Prairie Wolf Spirits is owned and operated solely by the Merritt family. We’ve been doing business in Oklahoma since the Land Run of 1889 and we still own the 160-acre plot the family attained during the Run.
The distillery is named after this land, located in Loyal, Oklahoma, where the family has come for generations to unwind and enjoy each other’s company. It was on one of these evenings at the ranch that the Merritt brothers, Blake and Hunter, were discussing the future with their father, David Merritt, over a glass of bourbon. Enjoying their time together, David thought, why can’t we make a delicious, pure spirit of our own right here in Oklahoma? After years of pursuing their craft from masters all over the nation and attaining a mountain of permits, Prairie Wolf Spirits is proud to present one of Oklahoma’s finest distilleries.
Prairie Wolf Spirits are enjoyable anywhere. We believe, however, that the best way to drink our spirits is sitting on the porch or at the kitchen table— surrounded by friends and family. That’s the Prairie Wolf way.

Prairie Wolf Vodka
Our Prairie Wolf Vodka is distilled to the purest form attainable, then gently finished with our water to bring it down to strength. The purity of the spirit, combined with the perfect blending water gives our vodka its distinctive clean and markedly smooth taste.
