Chaumette Vineyards & Winery The rich and romantic heritage of France runs deep at Chaumette Vineyards in the heart of Sainte Genevieve County. Here, just a few miles from the historic river port, amid graceful hills, luxurious views, and carefully tended vines sits a proud addition to America's quality vineyards. Chaumette is located on 310 acres of lush meadows and quiet splendor. Enjoy the sophisticated rural experience with original art in the Gallerie De Vins, on a tour of the Vineyard or Winery or in one of several wine classes. Chaumette is located off Highway I-55, (exit 150) at Highway 32, go west 100 feet to Highway B, then South for 14 miles to Coffman. Take Highway WW approximately 2.5 miles to the winery. From I-55 (about 50 miles south of St. Louis), exit at highway 32 (Exit 150), go West 100 feet to Highway B, then go South for 14 miles to Coffman and take Highway WW approximately 3 miles and look for the Chaumette sign on the right.

  Assemblage
Silver Medal, 2006 Indiana International Wine Competition. Full bodied and crafted in a northern Rhone style, our Assemblage is a proprietary blend of mainly Norton and other estate-grown grapes; full-bodied, with aromas of cherry, strawberry, citrus peel and hints of black pepper. An truly diverse food pairing wine: try with steak, wild game, poultry and fish. Perfect with light pasta, Tex-Mex & Asian cuisine.
  Bouvet Blanc
Pear nose with peaches and honey in the body, ending with spicy ginger in the undertone.
  Bouvet Blend
Perfect blend of grapes that produce a medium bodied red wine. Spicy aroma with flavors of blackberries, black cherries and smoke.
  Dry Chardonel
Light body Pinot Gris style with a citrus nose and fruit forward flavors of grapefruit, lime and a slight mineral finish.
  Estate Chardonel
Full body Burgundian style aged in French Oak with a toasty nose, a hint of vanilla and pear and a smooth finish.
  Estate Norton
inified in a southern Rhone style, full bodied and aged 14 months in American (Missouri) oak barrels. Aromas of black cherry, black pepper and a hint of clove, with flavors of plum, apricot and black currant.
  Huguenot Red
Fruity and sweet with an enticing blend of raspberry and cherry flavors.
  Late Harvest Chardonel
Left on the vine long after all the other grapes have been harvested, these grapes develop intense fruit flavors and aromas. This highly prized wine is meant to be savored after dinner or on a special occasion.
  Missouri Blush
Sweet and fresh. Light body with wonderful fruit flavors.
  Norton
Full-bodied and aged 14 months in American (Missouri) oak barrels. Bold aromas of black cherry, blackberry, raspberry and hints of black pepper.
  Norton Port
Bronze Medal, 2007 Mid-American Wine Competition. Vinted in the classic port style, characterized by blackberry and dark cherry aromas, with a lingering fruit finish.
  Semi-Dry Chardonel
Light body with fruit forward aromas of apricot, tropical fruit and a lavish array of fruit flavors on the palate.
  Spontaneous Chardonel "Wild Yeast"
This wine was produced by a spontaneous fermentation from the wild yeast present on the skins of the grapes and present in the air in our winery. We liked the new style of Chardonel so well that our winemaker cultured this particular yeast and grew a colony so that we may reproduce this wine.
  Thebeau Chardonel
You may notice overtones of vanilla, citrus and pineapple in this Chardonel. A secondary fermentation gives this wine its buttery smoothness.
  Traminette
Vinified semi-dry, our 2006 Traminette is crisp, light and approachable. Whole cluster pressed for maximum varietal character, with a bouqet of floral & spicy notes, and a palate of apricot, honey and grapefruit.
