Castaway Cellars owners Scott and Shelly Crawford have been ardent lovers of wine for nearly two decades. Their passion for wine and learning inevitably led to a home wine making hobby, which rather quickly turned into the creation of Castaway Cellars.
Inspired by a love for the outdoors, the place they call home in beautiful North Idaho, and under the expert guidance of award wining wine maker Robert Smasne of Smasne Cellars, we are excited to share our Castaway Cellars wines with you. Our mission as a small family-owned business, is to provide our customers with well-crafted, quality wines from a variety of exceptional vineyards in the pacific northwest. And while producing high quality wines is our passion, it is equally important to us to provide a warm and friendly tasting room atmosphere. We want your experience with us to be fun, educational, and memorable. We hope you enjoy our wines just as much as we have loved making them for you.
