Mac's Creek Winery & Brewery Mac's Creek Vineyards & Winery is family owned and operated by the McFarlands and is located one-half mile north of Lexington, Nebraska on U.S. Highway 21. The twelve-acre vineyard lies along the banks of the beautiful Spring Creek. Our first planting season was in the spring of 2000. Eight different types of grapes, including red and white varieties will be used to create our wines. It is the commitment of the McFarland family to produce quality Nebraska wines for all to share.

From Interstate 80: Take Lexington exit north. Travel approximately 5 miles north until street ends (13th Street). Turn left on 13th Street and travel 1/2 mile to stop light (Adams Street). Turn right on Adams Street and travel 1 mile north (Rd. 757). Turn right on road 757. Mac's Creek Vineyards is on the left-hand side of the road. From U.S. Highway 30: From East: Travel to stoplight (Adams Street). Turn right on Adams Street and travel 2 miles north (Rd. 757). Turn right on 757. Mac's Creek Vineyards is on the left-hand side of the road. From West: Travel to stoplight (Adams Street). Turn left on Adams Street and travel 2 miles north (Rd. 757). Turn right on road 757.   Celtic Aire
This semi-dry white wine was carefully crafted to highlight the LaCrosse’s citrus and herbal zest and retain a vivid crispness in the wine. This wine is an excellent choice with any seafood or chicken dinner.
  deChaunac
The “Merlot” of Nebraska! This variety has a complex taste and yet it is smooth to the finish. This wine is made from whole cluster fermentation to bring out its varietal flavors.
  Edelweiss
This year’s vintage is “Sweet Perfection.” The Edelweiss grapes that were used were picked in the cool of the early morning to maximize the sweet distinct varietal flavors of this grape. Enjoy this semi-sweet wine with its smooth distinct varietal flavors.
  F.J.'s Reserve
Created with the Seyval grape this wine is sophistication in a bottle! The complex tastes and light finish make this an incredible wine to experience. Named for F. Joseph O'Neill, our owner Theresa McFarland's father, his stern bold compassionate nature is truly reflected in this wine.
  Flatwater White
This blend of Edelweiss and LaCrosse is a perfect combination of sweet sophistication. This wine pairs well with appetizers as well as complimenting many types of desserts.
  Fruit of the Vine
A Devine Experience!" A blend of Semi-Sweet LaCrosse and Sweet deChaunac. It has a floral onset in the mouth and ends with a refreshing burst of LaCrosse varietal flavor.
  Grandpa's Chokecherry Wine
Made in the same style as your grandpa did in the basement when you were a kid only a lot better and a lot cleaner! This wine is full of of berry flavors of blackberry, plum, elderberry and of course chokecherry. Pairs with Italian, poultry or lamb.
  Highlands Oak
This wine like its twin LaCrosse is dry white wine. It however was fermented in American Oak barrels. This wine has a smooth finish with hints of vanilla.
  Homesteader’s White
This is the final in the LaCrosse family of wines. This semi-sweet wine not only presents the crisp fruitiness of a sweeter wine but also has retained the sophisticated and complex tastes of the LaCrosse variety.
  LaCrosse
This varietal is finished as a dry white wine. This dry wine will rival any Chardonnay in complexity and texture. It can be paired with foods ranging from seafood to salads.
  Mac’s Lantern
This wine is one of Mac’s Creek’s finest varieties. Created from the newly developed Frontanac grape this semi-dry red wine has hints of cherry flavors in it. In Scotland the McFarland family was well know for their cattle rustling under the cover of night (or cattle relocation program as we like to call it). For this reason in Scotland the moon is referred to as Mac’s Lantern.
  Prairie Sky
Named for the beautiful landscape of the Nebraska prairie this wine lives up to its name. This wine is made from 100% of the finest apples from Kimmel Orchards in Nebraska City. It has been bottle aged for one year giving it a smooth vanilla finish.
  Prairie Trails White
A perfect blend between the LaCrosse grape and the new Traminette grape this wine is sure to offer an elegant surprise to even the most discerning wine drinkers. The complex taste with the spicy flavors of the Traminette grape makes this wine one of Mac’s Creek’s finest.
  River Valley Red
Red, sweet and ready for the warm days of spring and summer. This wine will pair well with picnic foods and barbecues. You will find hints of cherry, strawberry, and plum in this nectar.
  Settlers White
A perfect blend between the Seyval grape and the Traminette grape this wine is sure to offer an elegant suprise to even the most discerning wine drinkers. The complex tastes with the spicy flavors of the Traminette grape make this wine one of Mac's Creeks finest.
  Seyval
Created from the Seyval grape grown in south eastern Nebraska and Gibbon, Nebraska. It's rose/floral tastes mixed with the complex vartietal characteristics makes this wine a great pairing with fish, cheeses, and small game.

  St. Croix
The crown jewel of the Nebraska dry red varietals. This wine was fermented and aged in American Oak and has taken on the smooth butter texture of this variety.
  Vignoles
NEW for Mac's Creek this is a refreshing and mouth water white wine. Created with the Vignole grape grown near Shelton, Nebraska this wine is a great wine to experience with friends and family. Everyone will LOVE Vignoles!
